WorldNetDaily: Terror alerts manufactured?
I don't know what to make of this news story. I don't want to believe this is true. To think that the terror alerts are mostly B.S. is hard to comprehend.
I did look around the web site and it seems to be pretty down the middle as far as being Republican or Democratic. Which is a good thing. I don't want to get all my news from one side.

I don't know if the Bush administration is manufacturing/exaggerating terrorist activity, but I do know that these alerts annoy me intensely. OK - so today there is a 'high' alert ... so, what are we supposed to DO with that information? Do we stay home and cower under the bed? Carry a gun wherever we go? Scan the faces of everyone we meet, with cell phone in hand to call the police? It seems that the only result is to heighten the fear in the US and the world. As though there isn't enough of that already. Oh, and let's not forget that it's also CYA time, so that if anything actually does occur, the powers-that-be can say, "We told you so."
